More archive stuff, more cooking...
Here the design for print on a kitchen apron I did for multiculturale institute Forum. 2008 that was.

Recipe 2
Into the archives again, though not too deep this time...
October 2013, on World Poverty Day, a group of mostly Tilburg activists brought out Quiet 500. The glossy (one shot) magazine was part parody of the Quote 500 -a yearly list of the Dutch top wealthy made up by Quote magazine-, part informing the broader audience on life at the bottom of the foodchain, the poor amongst us.
I was asked to make a contribution, which I did with the comic short below: 'Cooking against the crisis'. Bringing back old-time character Otto van der Maan, and a quote from a Dead Kennedy song.

Penitentiary Visualisations
I live near a city prison, which has recently been shut down so is empty now. Different organisations are now looking for alternative functions of the complex build on a bastion and dating from Napoleontic times. One of the groups of interest is a local residents union, for whom I drew a series of visualisations what the place could look like in the future. All streetlevel and outside views because that's recognisable for most people.
The drawings will appear in a booklet, but rather smallscale.
