 Het thema waarbij ik een song mocht kiezen en tekenen in Heaven #3/2024 was '25'. Dit vanwege het simpele feit dat het tijdschrift nu 25 jaar bestaat. Nou, veel nummertjes met dit getal in de titel zijn er niet te vinden. Het wordt wel gebruikt in teksten, ook meestal om de leeftijd van over wie het gaat te duiden. Maar ik kwam toch vrij snel uit op deze hit van Chicago (die eerst Chicago Transit Authority heette en waarvan ik het geweldige debuutdubbelalbum al eeuwen in huis heb). De titel slaat, zoals later na veel speculatie bleek, op het tijdstip wanneer toetsenist Robert Lamm de song schreef.

Made this one 10 years ago but never published. Don't know why, perhaps I thought it to be 'too hard' (which would be weird for my doing). Nevertheless reality these days proved itself harder still. So I'll post this anyway:

Tokio in Detail 2

My first visit in Japan (2008) resulted in a miniseries for Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant, named 'Tokio in Detail'. A sort of spinoff from the same concept I made for my hometown ('Utrecht in detail') and which I'll publish here later some day
